Undergrads: for the second year, we will offer in the spring semester the "Introduction to Latino/a Studies in the Global South," for our newly approved undergraduate certificate by the same name. We will also have a special course offering this spring by our Postdoctoral Associate on Latino Hip Hop. If you are interested in the certificate, contact us.

February 04, 2010 - at UNC-CH: Exhibit, La Sombra y El Espiritu: Womens' Healing Rituals in the Diaspora
The exhibition opens on February 4 at 7 p.m. with an artist's reception
and talk by Wendy Phillips. Arturo Lindsay, Spelman College professor of
art, will make a special presentation. The exhibit will be on display in the Sonya Haynes Stone Center
