Latino/a Studies presents and supports lectures, events, and activities that bring a face to the field, while also offering financial support for student and faculty research and scholarship. Please enjoy browsing our website and be sure to join our mail list.
Undergrads: for the second year, we will offer in the spring semester the "Introduction to Latino/a Studies in the Global South," for our newly approved undergraduate certificate by the same name.  We will also have a special course offering this spring by our Postdoctoral Associate on Latino Hip Hop. The exhibition opens on February 4 at 7 p.m. with an artist's reception and talk by Wendy Phillips. Arturo Lindsay, Spelman College professor of art, will make a special presentation. The exhibit will be on display in the Sonya Haynes Stone Center through April 30, 2010. [more info]
